First E. P.’s minister and his family
The Reverend Mark Dunn was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, of Ulster-Scots ancestry. As a British citizen he served in the Royal Navy before graduating in business from the University of Ulster. After working for a short time in business he was called to full time Christian work and completed his theological training at Union Theological College, Belfast. At present the Reverend Dunn is near completing a Doctorate of Ministry through Highland Theological College (Inverness, Scotland) and Reformed Theological Seminary (Jackson, MS).
Mark married Jessica in 1998, a native of Chatham, Upstate New York. They met while doing Biblical studies as part of a summer study program in Israel (Jerusalem University College). Jessica is a graduate of Cedarville University, Ohio, where she earned a major in Bible and Missions.
Mark and Jessica ministered for seven years in county Antrim Northern Ireland with the Presbyterian Church in Ireland. They have three sons; Joshua and Timothy, both born in Northern Ireland, and Benjamin born in the United States. They have now ministered for three and half years with the First Evangelical Presbyterian Church of East Liverpool, Ohio.
The family love to travel and spend much time in the outdoors. Mark is an improving golfer and a keen fisherman. Jessica loves to play music and read when not interrupted by little voices. Joshua and Timothy are Steelers fans, but where baseball is concerned are remaining true to their mother’s Yankee loyalties.
