Children

At 9:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings nursery, pre-school and elementery classes meet for children's Sunday school.  Nursery is also provided during services of worship. 

Choir

The choir is a four part choir that ministers the gospel by song during the services of worship.  The choir is composed of all ages and meet for practice on Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m.

Community

Every June we have a V.B.S (Vacation bible School) for the kids of the community and the congregation.  

The congregation provided refreshments and gospel literature at the annual Christmas parade through the city.   

Also in December we have opportunity to participate in a Winter Wonderland Walk.  A walking tour of the histroic downtown city churches.  First Evangelical Presbyterian church sings carols and holds a worship service.

Men

Activities:

The Master's Men meet for Bible study on the first and third Monday of each month at 7 p.m. in the fellowship hall at 1st EP church.  They are currently studying the book of Revelation.  It is the goal of the Master's men to serve Christ, love their wives and nurture their children in the Lord.

Prayer

The congregation meet for prayer and fellowship every Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship hall.  Please join us for this important ministry.

The church has a prayer chain which can be activated when urgent prayer is needed by contacting Anna Wiegand (President of WIC)

Women

A group of women meet for Bible study, fellowship and refreshments every Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. in the Fellowship room. 

Women in the Church ( WIC )

Women in the Church ( WIC ) is the collective ministry of the female population of our church.  The purpose of WIC is to encourage women to offer their special gifts and talents to the Lord through His church.  Together they may expand the evangelistic outreach of the church through their prayers.  They may minister to the church families and local communities by their compassionate service.  They may help strengthen the life of the church by their example, prayer and patient teaching. 

Our church has 3 circles ( fellowship groups ):

Hannah Circle ( meets at 10:00am on the 2nd Thursday of the month )

Pearl Davidson Circle ( meets a 1:00pm on the 2nd Monday of the month )

Martha Circle ( meets at 7:00pm on the 2nd Monday of the month )

The individual circles meet once a month in February - April - June - July - September and November.  The WIC organization, as a whole, meets the 2nd Monday in the evening, usually at 7:00pm in the months of March - May - August - October and December

Youth

Junior & Senior high youth group meet at 7 p.m. every Sunday evening at the church, after the evening worship service. 

The church has a seasonal, co-ed basketball team that play weekly in a church league.  Steve Lorah is the coach.
